Abstract:
There are quite numbers of spin-dependent phenomena developed in
the last several years for transition-metal ferromagnetic metals. Among
them, current-driven spin torques, spin pumping, spin electromotive force,
and inhomogeneous spin damping have received considerable attention. We show
that these seemingly different phenomena can be understood and formulated
within a single scheme. New predictions such as inhomogeneous damping
tensors are explicitly made.
